Electrical Estimator-Regina Print
MEC is currently recruiting for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Corporate Operations team as an Electrical Estimator. This position will hold corporate responsibilities and will be based out of the Regina office. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure electrical estimates are accurate and competitive throughout all aspects of industrial construction projects
  • Prepare detailed and economical material and labor cost estimates
  • Coordinate and manage short-term projects
  • Network with customers and contractors to develop effective business relationships
  • Assist in tendering procedures and reviewing of contracts

 Qualifications and Skills

  •  Completion of Electrical Engineering Technology diploma, or valid Journeyperson Electrician ticket, or a combination of industrial training and experience
  •   5+ years of experience with electrical estimating on industrial projects 
  •   Effective organization, time management and communication skills
  •   Excellent technical and numerical skills
  •   Ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a busy office environment
  •   Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  •   Working knowledge of various Microsoft office applications
  •   Working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and CSA standards
